The Bosch 25618-02 has a top IPM of 3200 IPM. The average top IPM of 18 volt cordless impact drivers is 3016 IPM. An impact driver delivers blows in a rotational way as opposed to a hammer drill which delivers blows into the work. The higher the IPM of a cordless impact driver the faster a screw or bolt will be installed or removed. Actually Bosch has one of the best tool warranties available, if you register the tool within 4 weeks of purchase the warranty is extended for 3 years. Battery replacement is free for two years.
